Organ Transplanting – Ethics and Morality.

Good morning, I’m posting the below link to Marta Merajver’s blog, it’s my view on the ethics and morality of organ transplanting, highlighting the illegal trade in organs. I invite you to drop by and have a read.

Laurie.

I’m a big proponent of organ transplants since I’m an organ donor. I just hope that when I die, it’s in a way that leaves my body intact so that any useful organs might help someone else have a longer, healthier life (presuming that my organs are healthy……….lol) and that when I die, the medical people get my body quickly so that any useful organs don’t deteriorate before they can be used.

Thanks for reading my blog on the organ transplanting. That’s the thing isn’t it, that you’re still fresh enough to be of use to someone else. Although they can take tendons and such. The illegal trade is certainly an issue that won’t go away. They can have mine ‘when I’m dead.’

Thank You, Laurie! As this subject has to do with “death” also, I think many people shy away from it, like you yourself proposed to Marta. I personally think that you are right. Still, we can’t hide from it and together we stand strong (er)!

You’re welcome Jelka, if you delve into the blog here you’ll death has played a huge role in my life. The last great Taboo that most people fear, yet we all have to walk through that door. I think it will be the only way to answer a lot of huge questions. I’m waiting for my request to join INF to be approved.
      Cheers
      Laurie.

Thank you so much Jelka, firstly for taking the time to read and reply to my blog but also for your comments on my writing style. When the subject raises questions on morality and ethics one never knows what the response may be to the article, or author for that matter. Everyone who has replied has been, like yourself polite, respectful and insightful. Thank you for posting on your LinkedIn forum.
      Cheers
      Laurie.
